Overland Airways Business Flyer will be expanding its current scheduled flight operations to Katsina State effective November 2, 2009.

The premium flight service will operate Mondays to Fridays between Katsina Airport and Abuja Airport providing 2 flights daily and a total of 10 flights each week. Morning flights will depart Katsina at 07:00 and arrive Abuja at 08:00 while evening flights will depart Abuja at 15:30 and arrive Katsina at 16:30.

This unprecedented service will give passengers the opportunity to travel out of Katsina first thing in the morning arrive Abuja, complete their business and then return to Katsina State same day.

Overland Airways is the first airline to have an aircraft based in Katsina State in order to serve the travel needs of its esteemed clientele. This is in furtherance of its route development and expansion.

Overland Airways Business Flyer will offer same day return flights, on-time departure and arrival and value-added customer service to passengers on the Katsina – Abuja route. It will operate the flight services with the airline’s state-of-the-art B1900D specially adapted to operate effectively in the typical weather conditions associated with northern Nigeria.

The B1900D provides ample legroom and a comfortable interior that ensures a stress-free passenger experience for the duration of the flight. Its single aisle and spacious cabin offers a relaxed ambience to passengers while in the air.

Overland Airways’ expansion to Katsina will facilitate the opening up of the State to investors and leisure travelers who are in search of new opportunities and destinations. It will further promote trade, tourism and create opportunities for social and economic development within the State and between Katsina and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
